Scholarship Details
To be eligible for the Baillet Latour Biomedical Award 2025, applicants must be early-career independent investigators who obtained their PhD no more than 12 years prior to the application deadline of September 16, 2012. Extensions are allowed for documented career breaks due to maternity/paternity leave, national service, long-term illness, or MD-PhD specialty training.

– The PI must be affiliated with a Belgian university, university hospital, or eligible research institute.
– Evidence of affiliation to the Host Institution must be provided until at least April 30, 2030.

– Payment Schedule:
– An initial installment of €400,000 at the start.
